The Super Session mouthpiece has been specially designed for Jazz playing, though being also suitable for more academic work. the inner conception of the chamber gives this mouthpiece very attractive playing features required by modern players. A wide dynamic range enabling a great adaptation capacity to various contexts, an unequalled flexibility to switch easily from triple piano to fortissimo with maximum control, and a generous and centered tone. The Soprano Super Session is easy to blow and remains stable regardless of dynamic levels, throughout the whole range, displaying an astonishingly rich and round sound.

The Super Session is a superb soprano mouthpiece a valid alternative to the Otto Link - Bari, and Jody Jazz pieces. A full-bodied sound very warm yet very flexible and you can brighten it up by pushing it. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy to control it. As Selmer mouthpieces tend to be very small tip opening-wise I'd recommend trying at least an E and anything onwards. E = to a 5* Otto Link. - Tommy
